Pierre Forin
Equipped with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Pierre worked on CO2 carriers and Onboard Carbon Capture projects at Total Energies Norway before joining forces with Jess Adkins at Caltech.
His understanding of the Maritime and Energy industries, Academia, and Startups propelled him to co-founded Calcarea.
He grew up sailing and surfing, which ignited a burning desire to understand the Ocean and craft solutions around it. Pierre fuels from his passions to push the Engineering front and grow Calcarea towards a sustainable business and ecosystem.
French native, he now calls Long Beach California home, where he divides his time between building reactors in the Port and collaborating with the team Downtown Los Angeles.
